«My name is Aliki Kouvaka and I attended the PhotoReading seminar in the summer of 2004.
What I really liked in the procedure is that it is like a game, which allowed me to participate while enjoying myself. Another thing that helped me was the absence of any assessment, grading or competition, which relieved me of the student anxiety problems that had persecuted me all my life.
Up to the time of the seminar, the way I used to study any text was tiresome since I had learning difficulties (dyslexia), which made me study slowly and learn little. «I did a PhotoReading course right after finishing university. Many people told me that it was a bad choice and that they could not see how PhotoReading would help me now that I had finished my studies. The answer came soon enough. A few months later I started working for a large multinational company which sells many different products, which of course I had to become familiar with as soon as possible, and for this reason they gave me numerous leaflets to read.
Everybody was impressed when I learnt all the products as well as their competitive ones at one third of the time that other people normally needed. They were even more impressed (and so was I) when, out of the blue, I would start telling them about features of these products that they themselves could hardly recall.
